Washington D.C. yay yay.


It was fun.


I went with two of my friends. We left Friday morning. I had to get up extremely early, like before 6. I didn't sleep much Thursday night, as I got one of late night energy boosts and could not get to sleep. I tried to tire myself out, but to no avail. We took a train there, and it went very smoothly. Got to listen to some good Keane songs that were stuck in my head throughout the two days I spent in Washington. The purpose of the trip was to attend a conference about politics and journalism, so we spent most of our time at the conference, but we did get to go site seeing quite a bit. When we first got there, we had some free time, so we went to go see the Capital building, the Washington Monument and the White house. Very cool feeling to be in the presence of all these significant sites.
