Happy November

Current Mood: Reticent, tired.
Currrent Song: Shake it - Metro Station
Random thought:

Odd mood today. Not in a good mood, not in a bad mood, and I'm not sure why I feel this way.

November is here. Already. Just over a month left in this semester. Crazy.

Past few weeks have been ordinary for the most part. This weekend has been different though, as the people I usually spend time with on weekends all went home, so I was hung out with some other friends. It was nice. Like, on Halloween, I went to a party. My other friends don't really party, so it was an unusual activity for me. It was nice talking with and getting to know some people at the party, but I probably won't be going to do too often, as the party atmosphere is definitely not something I thrive in. Once in a while is fine.

I was disappointed with my costume, as didn't get to complete it. I didn't have time to go and buy additional pieces (I'm more of a fan of making my own costume than buying a pre-made one). I was a confused cowboy, but I only had a cowboy hat and a sword, so it didn't look too spectacular.

Despite the tone of this post, I had a nice Halloween. (I think I'm experiencing the mood-congruent memory phenomenon.)

Yesterday, my parents came up and we had went out a bit to a few stores. Went to Piccolos (an Italian pizzeria near TCNJ) and I got an excellent Chicken Parm sub. Afterwards we went to store that was sellng Halloween merchandise as well as other things. Didn't buy anything though. Went food shopping after that. Uneventful afternoon, but it was nice to spend some time with the fam.
After my parents left, I went to Wendy's with my friend, then went for a bike ride with another friend. Probably the most enjoyable part of the day, as I haven't really rode a bike in months, and its something I love to do. We rode our bikes to a nearby woods and hung out for a bit. After that, just spent some time with a group of friends, and then went back to my room. I was extremely tired (having had fractured sleep the past three or so nights) so I didn't feel like doing much. I was very happy to have an extra hour to chill. I watched "One Day, One Room", my favorite House episode before I went to sleep for the evening. I had been wanting to watch it for a long time, just never had enough time.

Today. Hmm. I'm going to do some homework, work out and run, nothing too exciting. I'm going to try to get ahead with my homework, as I'm not going to be able to do anything next Friday/Saturday as I will be going to Washington D.C. I will probably make my next blog post next Sunday, and I'll talk about the trip. I'm very excited for it, as I had never been to Washingston D.C. before and the thought of my first time going there to be the week of one of the most historic presidential elections is amazing.

Until then, Adios.
