Current Mood: Thoughtful.
Current Song: Comes and Goes (In waves) - Greg Laswell
Random Thought:
Heard this song in Barnes and Noble during fall break. =).
It's be a month. I lied. I said I would do this more often. I haven't. Eventually, I will though. Maybe this week will be the one that I finally stay consistent. ( I also lied about posting this morning in my previous post, its not early evening). I truly do want to post here at least every other day, besides for keeping you guys informed, I can have a nice chronicle of my life that I can look back on.
Since I haven't posted in a month, I can include a lot of in this post. However, to avoid many of you going"tl, dr" (Too long, didn't read), I'm just going to talk about two instances: Fall break and Princeton.
Fall break was from October 10th to the 15th for me. I came home on Friday the 10th, and went back to school the morning of October 15th.
Friday was fun. I went to Livingston's home football game against Columbia, and saw some people that I haven't seen in awhile. It was nice to be at the game. They were always quite the social event.
I didn't stay at the game long though, as I was going to NYC for the night, to sleep over my friends dorm at NYU. It was a great night. First, we saw a show, FuerzaBruta. Different - one word to describe it. First of all, there were no seats in treater. Not really a problem though. Just different. Anyway, the show basically consisted of random skits that all fit the theme of wanting to "escape". Escape from what, I'm not sure. Never really gave it too much thought. The best skit was when a huge fish tank came down from the ceiling and came down right above my head. Inside the tank, people performed an assortment of acts with the aid of the water in the tank (The top was open so they could breath in case you were wondering). The best part of the night was after the show. We basically roamed NYC until 4 am. We went to Union Sqaure, Greenich Village and even Central Park (well the outside of centrol park, as going in there during the night is a no-no). It was spontaneous, something I wish I was more often.
The rest of fall break contained many other enjoyable experiences. On Saturday I didn't do much but watch A Beautiful Mind (Russel Crowe, Jennifer Connelly). I was tired.
Sunday was also very nice. The went to my grandparents house and spent a lot of time with my little cousin. She's over two years old now, and becoming more articulate every week. I also went to see The Dutchness (Kiera Knightley), with a friend. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was the story set in 18th century England, set around the relationship between a duke and dutchess. I wish I could talk like they do in this movie, I would definitely be a popular kid.
Monday, another great day. I took my cousin and his friend out to lunch (who are still in H.s.), visited the school with a friend, went to the new Barnes and Noble by the mall, saw another friend at the mall, and went running. Busy, fun day.
Tuesday, I visited the school again (had to sneak in this time, buffed up security, we weren't wanted in the school). Sneaking it made it very exciting. Avoiding security guards by dashing up the stairs, good times. (I can't believe I just said "good times" wtf) Okay. Also on Tuesday, I took pictures of Livingston. It was a beautiful day, perfect for pictures. Photography is a new hobby of mine, and I'm enjoying it. I may get an nice camera for Christmas. I hope so.
Overall, I loved my fall break. It was much needed.
I'm running out of time to write this.. so I'm going to quickly describe Princeton. Last friday, two of my friends from college and I went to visit Princeton (the town and the university). TCNJ is very close to Princeton, so we had been planning for awhile to go visit. Probably the most fun I had at college. Sneaking around Princeton, being random, having a snow ball fight, getting into a Princeton party! So much fun. I could describe this for paragraphs, but I'm going to hold off, as this post is quite long.
After Princeton, I came back to my dorm and had a wonderful time being a superhero. I was in a fantastic mood, so I was incredibly random and... weird. My friend and I decided that we had to protect the floor, so with my sword and cowboy hat (and for a time someone's crutches) we made sure everyone on the floor was safe when they came home from their parties. So many hilarious moments. I also learned that spinning down the hall way and trying to walk back can provide endless entertainment.
That's all for now. Dinner time.
